7 The best GPS application for Android

GPS device does have many features that facilitate the performance users to get route information. Currently, GPS is embedded in the Android-based operating system. So Android users do not bother to get a GPS-based applications. Here are 7 best applications used in Android phone :

1. Google Maps Navigation

Google Maps with navigation is available for Android 1.6 and higher. This suite has been tested and is currently the most popular application of GPS to users of Android 1.6 and above. It includes many features that no other GPS applications are able to provide, like Street View and satellite views.

2. Loopt- Android GPS Apps
Loopt users can share their location between the transport networks with other Loopt users of AT & T, Sprint, Verizon, Boost, MetroPCS and T-Mobile.Android's version offers all the basic features including location Loopt background update allows users to receive alerts when a friend is nearby. Users can also switch between map to a satellite view of your friend or a map to control the traffic delays. Beyond sharing their location and status information with friends via mobile, Loopt users can also easily share your information with popular Internet services such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter or personal blogs and Web sites.

3. Glympse – Android GPS Apps
Glympse use the T-Mobile G1 GPS to find your location, then you can send a link to this site to a friend, relative, business partner and so on. When the recipient gets the link, you can click it to open a dynamic map showing the location in real time. Instead of being a new network you have to fill out a profile, invite friends, and all other common complications, Glympse requires no registration or login. And friends are temporary. You can choose to allow location to be viewed by at least 15 minutes and a maximum of 4 hours, which dramatically simplifies the process of user privacy.

4. CoPilot- Android GPS Apps
If you travel a lot and often travel outside their planned routes CoPilot is for you. CoPilot software works on maps that are downloaded to the SD card into the phone. The larger storage SD card allows you to customize the maps of all North American phone. CoPilot also has a nice interface that is easy to use while driving. If you are accustomed to a conventional system as a Garmin GPS, CoPilot is the closest I will come in terms of interface. I also prefer the alarm CoPilot much better than Google Maps. Copilot does everything you need in a GPS application, even thought I could not include some of the most elegant, like Street View.

5. Wisepilot- Android GPS Apps
WisePilot GPS is another application for Android. I honestly feel that this application does not differ from any of the other applications of GPS enough to justify a $ 69.95 per year price tag. Yes, it gets to a point to another. Which has points of interest and voice alerts, but so do the free applications, together with CoPilot. The only thing that does is it allows you to manage all their routes online. This can be a very nice feature if you are planning a trip. You can plan a trip from start to finish, including places to eat and gas stations have to stop at all on their website.

6. Locale – Android GPS Apps
This is the application smart guy that I love. Use your location to adjust the settings on the phone. It may seem a bit confusing at first, but you can set your phone to perform certain functions to reach the predefined locations. For example - you can set the phone to remind you to charge the battery when you walk through your front door. You can set the phone to go to switch to silent mode as soon as you arrive at the cinema. The list is endless and can be configured to do exactly what you want. Embarrassment is only available for Android.

7. Places Directory- Android GPS Apps
As its name implies, site directory allows you to browse nearby places in categories such as restaurants, cinemas, hotels and banks. You can find the distance and direction to destination, and touching on the list, we will show reviews and photos. You can also call the company or see its location on Google Maps.

I live where GPS is clueless. I give directions but people INSIST on using GPS. I say install Glympse. Then when they get lost and call, it's easy.
